Our current range are individually handmade by the beautiful people in Zanzibar, off the coast of East Africa. No two are exactly the same.
African beadwork is a traditional hand craft spanning back to the mid-11th century.
The beads they originally used were made from organic materials like bone, shells and seeds. By the 16th century glass beads were being used. These tiny glass beads are delicately strung together and wound very tightly onto Cotton rope or recycled silicone tube to form these gorgeous and unique, individually handmade glass beaded bangles.
Wear a single bangle as an accessory for any outfit or wear more than one to create a statement accessory for a simple outfit.
